My-Villages Announces Rapid Growth, New Headquarters in West Palm Beach

The move to a new, larger headquarters is the result of growing demand for My-Villages’ key marine products – The Boat Village, The Boat Village Pro and DockMaster – in the last 12 months

West Palm Beach, Fla. – Feb. 19, 2015 – My-Villages, the leading provider of online tools that connect local service businesses with their customers, today announced that the company has opened a new, larger headquarters in West Palm Beach, Fla. The move to the new office, located at 401 South Dixie, is the result of growing demand for My-Villages’ marine products, The Boat Village, The Boat Village Pro and DockMaster, in the last 12 months.

The Dockmaster hosted service user base grew 132% in 2014, and My-Villages expects even larger growth in 2015. At the same time, the company more than doubled the number of boat service businesses utilizing The Boat Village Pro to coordinate service online with their customers.  And, over 3,000 boat owners are now utilizing The Boat Village, with most of that growth occurring in 2014 since the product became available in late 2013.

“When we started My-Villages in 2012, our vision was to simplify boat maintenance for owners, and help boat service professionals better care for their existing customers. The rapidly growing demand for our software has demonstrated an acute need for better local service coordination, customer communication, task sharing and business automation,” said Kevin Hutchinson, founder and CEO of My-Villages. “As we addressed the strong demand and made several new hires, it was clear we needed to make a move to a larger headquarters.”

The Boat Village, for boat owners, is an online service coordination and digital boat management platform that reduces maintenance hassles through easier communication and proactive servicing. Owners, or their captains, can use The Boat Village to order service online by assigning tasks to their boat service yards, via a mobile device or computer. They can even add photos and videos to support their task requests. The Boat Village is free of charge to consumers and includes up to 1GB of storage (owners can purchase more storage up to 30GB).

The Boat Village Pro is a tool for boat businesses to receive customer task requests online. Boat service yards can use The Boat Village Pro to communicate with customers, receive task requests, coordinate service, respond to inquiries, secure approvals, offer work updates and even generate reminders when service is due. The Boat Village Pro brings service pros closer to their customers, increasing customer loyalty, improving efficiency and boosting sales revenue.

DockMaster is the leading back-office software for marine businesses such as service yards, boat builders, marinas and brokers/dealers. Boat businesses can use DockMaster for financial management, work order processing, inventory management, point of sale, marina management, and sales management. DockMaster works seamlessly with The Boat Village Pro to offer boat businesses a full suite of customer care and back-office tools.
